California Coastal Cleanup Day is the state’s largest annual volunteer event. The 33rd annual beach and inland waterway cleanup takes place on Saturday September 16, 2017: 9am-12noon.
Each year, over 60,000 volunteers remove more than 1.2 million pounds of trash and recyclables from our beaches, lakes, and waterways. When combined with the International Coastal Cleanup, organized by Ocean Conservancy and taking place on the same day, California Coastal Cleanup Day becomes part of one of the largest volunteer events in the world.
Join the Sonoma County Cleanup at one of 12 locations from 9 am. to noon. Post Clean Up Snacks provided at Bodega Dunes Campground 12 -2!

Access trails to the beach can be steep and slippery. Sleeper waves and coastal currents are dangerous. Educate yourself about being safe at the beach.
